Sales Representatives
Madison Area City Guide LLC is aggressively searching for Online
Advertising Sales Representatives to work with a variety of businesses in
the communities where we have launched unique community guides: Madison,
Monona, Middleton, Cambridge, Cottage Grove, Deforest, Fitchburg,
McFarland, Oregon, Stoughton, Sun Prairie, Verona and Waunakee.
This is your opportunity to join an advertising sales team on the ground
floor of a rapidly growing on line advertising sales company. As a member
of our team you would be responsible for selling advertising into the
online guides within an assigned group of communities in the greater Dane
County area using prospecting and cold calling techniques. You’ll help
small businesses create affordable, creative online advertising and grow
with the local economy.
Candidates must be self-motivated, have an understanding of the internet’s
advertising potential, and a desire to continuously improve your own
skills and your customer’s response. Candidates must be organized and able
to handle multiple sales projects in a fast-paced environment while
providing outstanding customer service. Some evenings and weekends may be
required. Position reports to the Madison Area City Guide Manager.
Compensation is commission based with targeted bonuses for achieving
goals.
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, motivation and drive
The ability to generate ideas and develop proposals
Computer and technology savvy
A degree in business, marketing or advertising or equivalent experience
and a successful track record is required. Ownership of a laptop computer
and software is desirable.
